My Why. Or Better Yet My Who.

I have always liked the idea of blogs. I read them almost daily to get little snippets of information. Sometimes it is to find inspiration for dinner, or how to plan a party. When I decided it was my turn to add my two cents to the internet, I struggled coming up with a name. I went to Chat GPT and googled puns for my name, that was unsuccessful… Victorious Baird hahah, no thank you! Then I searched creative blog names. That search was even more unsuccessful. I turned to my Mom’s Storyworth responses. If you haven’t heard about Storyworth, you should check it out. It is basically a service where you pay a fee and the company will email you, or someone you choose a journal prompt weekly. The person then responds to the journal prompt and at the end of the year, they are collected and published into a bound book. Last Christmas I gifted my mother a Storyworth subscription. Every week her journal entries are sent to my email as well. This is where I came up with the name, “A Letter to my Legacy”. The journal entry that spurred this idea was “What’s one thing you wish you’d known before becoming a parent”. My mom spoke about cherishing the moment you have with your children, as they will carry your legacy forward. Now there are plenty of things that I hope my child, and maybe one day children car
